Big Ear provider program

Turn what you love into a business you run from your phone.

Big Ear providers help the people they ride, jump, shoot and play music with keep their hearing for life. You learn to take ear impressions with our online course, you meet people where they already gather, and our lab in the USA builds every order by hand. We’d love to have you with us.

Packages start at $575.

Who it’s for

Built for people who are already in the room.

You know the riders at bike night, the regulars at the range and the jumpers on the manifest board. They already trust you. Loud is part of what they love, and you can be the person who helps them protect their hearing while they keep doing it.

How providers sell

Three ways to sell. Mix them however you like.

01 · In person

At events and shops

Set up at bike nights, dealerships, gun ranges, race tracks and dropzones. Take impressions on the spot and sell made-on-site earplugs right there. They carry your best margin. The same impressions can go to our lab for filtered plugs, solids, Super-Soft and custom headphones.

02 · Online

Your own store, your own name

Become a verified provider with an e-commerce store linked to your business. Customers order through your store, our lab builds the product, and you earn a commission on every sale. We build the store. Bringing shoppers to it is up to you: your name, your community, your social pages and your events.

03 · Industrial

Facilities and crews

Already selling into plants and job sites? Boots, gloves, glasses and helmets are crowded categories. Custom hearing protection is still new to a lot of facilities, and one plant can mean a bulk fitting job for an entire crew.

Out at events with us

This is what a good day looks like.

Some of our favorite days are spent under a tent at a rally or a bike show, fitting people one at a time and hearing their stories. A few from the road:

Our advice

Start small on purpose.

You don’t need a big booth or a big budget to begin. Start at small, low-cost events where your people already gather:

  • Bike nights and dealership events
  • Range days and club shoots
  • Dropzone boogies and tunnel days
  • Band camps, local shows and rehearsals
  • Safety meetings at local shops and plants

Keep your costs low, give every person a great fitting, and let your name grow in your community. The expensive expo booths can wait until you know your numbers.

An honest note

We’ll always be straight with you.

What you earn depends on the time you put in, the community you serve and the events you choose, so we never promise income. Growing your customer base is your part, and for many people it’s the best part: it means getting to know your people.

Our part is the training, the product line, your online store, and every order made by hand in the USA with a 30-Day Fit Warranty on every pair. We’ve been doing this since 2003, and we’d be glad to help you start.

Questions

Provider questions, answered.

What does it cost to become a provider?

Packages start at $575 for Bronze, our entry-level package. After you apply we walk you through every level and what it includes. If you want your own web address, we register and host a domain for you for $50 a year.

Do I need hearing-care experience?

No background in hearing care is needed to take the course. Rules about who can take ear impressions can differ from state to state, so check your state’s requirements before you start fitting customers.

How do I learn to take impressions?

Through our online video course, at your own pace. It covers taking a clean, safe ear impression from start to finish.

Who builds the products?

Our lab in the USA builds every order by hand from the impressions you take. Lab-built orders ship 40 business days from the day the impressions reach us, and every pair carries our 30-Day Fit Warranty.

Can I do this part-time?

Yes. You choose your events, your hours and how you sell. You can start on weekends at the events you already go to.

Do you send me customers?

We don’t send customers to providers. Your business grows from the people you already know, the events you choose and your own page. We give you the training, the products and your online store so you can take good care of them.

Can I sell to industrial facilities?

Yes. If you already work in safety or sell to plants and job sites, providers can take on bulk fitting jobs for whole crews. Tell us about it when you apply.

Do I need my own business?

Most providers set up their own business, such as an LLC, so their store and sales are in their own name. Talk to an accountant or attorney about what fits you.
