Custom Motorcycle Headphones
At highway speed your helmet speakers lose to the wind, so you turn them up and ride home with ringing ears. These are in-ear headphones molded to your ears in soft silicone. They plug into your intercom, seal the wind out so your intercom, music and GPS come through without cranking the volume, and sit flush under a full-face helmet.
- Seal out the wind. Rated 32 dB, so you hear every word without fighting the roar.
- Flush under the helmet. Soft silicone, molded to your ear, with no stem to catch the padding.
- Plugs into your intercom. A standard 3.5mm plug for your Sena, Cardo or PackTalk.
- Built to last 3 to 5 years. Fully repairable when something wears out.
“The fit and comfort is unmatched and the build quality is impressive. But the sound, now that’s where the magic lies.”

Super Soft silicone
Soft headphones, made for a full day under a helmet.

Why riders switch
Your speakers are losing to the wind.
Helmet speakers sit outside your ear. At speed, the roar gets to your ear first.
01
You miss half of it.
Your riding partner, the GPS turn, the chorus. At highway speed the wind is louder than the speakers.
02
Turning it up has a cost.
University of Bath researchers found wind noise under a helmet at highway speed can reach 115 dB. Turning music up on top of that is how riders end up with ringing ears after a long day.
03
Universal earbuds give up.
Stems catch the helmet padding, the tips work loose, and by the second hour they ache.
Under the helmet
Helmet on. Helmet off. Still seated.
Molded from your own impressions, they sit flush in your ear, so the helmet slides right over them and lifts off without moving them. Helmet slowed down so you can see the fit.
Works with your intercom
Plug in. Helmet on. Ride.
No pairing and no charging for the earbuds themselves. Your intercom does the Bluetooth; your headphones just plug in.
01
Plug into the 3.5mm jack.
The cord ends in a standard 3.5mm plug that fits the jack on your Sena, Cardo or PackTalk unit.
02
No jack? Add a cable.
If your unit does not have a 3.5mm jack, a 3.5mm adapter cable made for your intercom is easy to find online and simply plugs in.
03
Seat them and ride.
Press them in, slide the helmet on, and your intercom, music and GPS come through clear.
Speakers, earbuds or custom
How they compare on the bike.
| Compared | Helmet speakers | Universal earbuds | Big Ear custom |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wind noise | Sit outside the ear, so the roar comes straight in | Depends on the tip seal, which shifts | Seals your ear canal: rated 32 dB |
| Volume you need | Turned up to beat the wind | Lower, while the seal holds | Lower, because the wind is sealed out |
| Under a full-face helmet | Speaker pucks can press on your ears | Stems catch the padding | Sits flush, nothing sticking out |
| Long days | Pressure points add up | Tips ache and work loose | Molded to your ear in soft silicone |
| How long it lasts | Until the speakers fail | Until the tips wear out | Built to last 3 to 5 years, fully repairable |
What riders say
Thousands of miles in their ears.
★★★★★
“On long trips, I routinely wear them for 15–18 hours a day for multiple days at a time, and they remain very comfortable. … There is little to no highway noise, yet communication with other riders remains very clear. Music sounds great, and GPS directions are easy to hear even while riding at highway speeds.”
★★★★★
“Had been using speakers in my helmet and not only could I not hear, I could hear the wind noise for days after a long ride. We took a 7 day motorcycle trip right after I received them and was amazed how good I could hear my music and intercom with no wind noise. Love them!”
★★★★★
“I used Big Ear in Iraq and nearly 100,000 miles on two bikes. … I upgraded 4 years ago and these new ones are so small and clear sounding i’m a customer for life!”
★★★★★
“Got a pair of soft headphones for my BMW at Daytona Bike Week. From this point on I won’t wear anything else but these.”

Hand-built in the USA
Made for your ears alone.
Not assembled overseas, not drop-shipped, not rushed. One pair at a time, for one set of ears at a time. We are proud of that, and we think you can hear the difference.
The detail
Every Big Ear in-ear monitor in this lineup is molded to your own ears in Super Soft platinum-cure silicone and built by hand in the USA. Pick the driver count that fits how you listen: one driver for calls and everyday music, up to eight for touring stages and studio work.
A soft custom shell seals to your ear, so you hear your music instead of the room, and it flexes with your jaw instead of pressing against it, so you can wear it for hours.
Hand-built in the USA, one pair at a time, and backed by our 30-day fit warranty.
