Foam falls out, aches against the pillow and never quite blocks the snore. Big Ear’s custom sleeping earplugs are molded to your ear canals in our softest silicone, so they stay put when you roll onto your side. Rated 32 dB to turn down snoring, traffic and the early-morning world. Made by hand in the USA and built to last 7 to 10 years.
Canal only
Super-Soft is a canal-only earplug with a small pull tab for taking it out. It’s made from molds of your ear canals and locks into the second bend of the canal, so it’s designed to hold a tight seal for side sleepers wherever you sleep. It’s made from our softest silicone, and nothing sticks out to press into the pillow.
Super-Soft is our softest silicone. It folds between two fingers and springs right back.

The short version: Super-Soft is the softest custom earplug we make, and it is the one we build for sleep. Canal-only, molded to your ears, and soft enough to lie on.
Includes the home impression kit and the 30-day fit warranty.
Lost sleep isn’t a small thing. Night after night of a snoring partner, street noise or a restless house adds up to exhaustion, stress, short tempers and real strain on your health and your relationship. And the usual fix, cheap foam, works against you: it falls out, presses painfully when you turn onto the pillow, and never seals well enough to block the one sound keeping you awake.
Custom sleeping earplugs solve it. Molded to your ears, they seal softly and stay put on your back, side or stomach, rated 32 dB, enough to turn snoring and traffic down to a hush. They’re feather-light, easy to wear all night, and are built to last 7 to 10 years of nightly use, so you invest once. Hand-built in the USA and backed by a 30-day fit warranty.
Foam falls out, hurts against the pillow and never quite blocks the snore. Custom-molded plugs fix all of it, here’s why people who value their sleep never go back.
Molded to your ears, they seal softly and don’t budge whether you’re on your back, your side or face-down in the pillow.
Rated 32 dB. Snoring, traffic and the early-morning world drop way down, and the seal holds all night.
Feather-light and pressure-free against the pillow, no aching ears at 3 a.m., no pulling them out half-asleep.
Earplugs turn alarms down too. Test yours while wearing them, or use a vibrating alarm if you need to wake to a sound.
Built to last 7 to 10 years of nightly use, one set instead of an endless landfill of foam.

Fair question, and we’ll answer it straight: if you wear plugs twice a year, buy the $30 pair. Custom is for people who wear them all the time, and who have already learned what a bad seal costs.
Nobody has an average ear. A universal plug can only press against your canal, never seal it, so it works loose, it aches after a few hours, and what leaks through the gap is the noise you were trying to block. Most end up in a drawer.
Molded to the exact shape of your canal, so it seals without pressure and stays sealed, through a shift, a set, a ride, a night. It doesn’t work loose, it doesn’t ache, and it lasts for years, not a season. Divided across that, it costs less than what you keep replacing.
The questions light sleepers and snore-survivors ask most before going custom.
For most people, a custom earplug in soft silicone. A plug molded to your own ear canals holds its seal through the night instead of working loose like foam. Our pick for sleep is Full Stop Super-Soft ($168.95): our softest silicone, canal-only so nothing presses into the pillow, rated 32 dB.
That is what Super-Soft is made for. It is a canal-only earplug with a small pull tab. It locks into the second bend of your ear canal, so nothing sticks out to press into the pillow, and it is made from our softest silicone (Shore A 25).
They turn it down a lot. Super-Soft is rated 32 dB. How quiet it gets depends on how loud the snoring is and on your seal, so very loud snoring can still be faintly heard. Because the plug is molded to you, the seal stays the same all night instead of loosening like foam.
Any earplug that turns down snoring also turns down alarms, a smoke detector and a child calling, so we can’t promise you will hear them. Before you rely on them, test your alarm while wearing them. If you need to wake to a sound, a vibrating alarm or a smoke alarm close to the bed can help.
Choose your earplugs and check out. Your home impression kit arrives 3 to 5 business days after you order, so watch for a tracking number. Taking your impressions takes about 15 to 20 minutes at home, and the box includes a prepaid return label. You can also use impressions we already have on file, or impressions taken by an audiologist or a Big Ear provider and mailed to us (they set their own fee).
Every pair is hand-built in 40 business days, counted from the day your impressions reach our lab. Add the kit’s trip to you, the time you take to mail it back, and shipping to you. We don’t rush builds.
With nightly use, our earplugs are built to last 7 to 10 years. That is an estimate of useful life, not a warranty. The warranty is below.
Every pair has a 30-day fit warranty: if the fit is off, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we adjust it. Earplugs also have a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Loss is not covered.
Foam and generic silicone plugs fall out, compress over the night and rarely seal the same way twice, so you keep replacing them. Custom plugs fit only your ears, stay put and last for years.

What happens after you pay
A custom set cannot exist until we have the shape of your ears. The kit we send takes a mold every bit as good as one taken in a clinic, it is what most of our customers use, and it is what the lab builds from. If you would rather have it done for you, any audiologist can, or you can visit one of our providers. It costs the same either way.
