Do’s:
- Wet a clean cloth with antibacterial soap and water. Use this to gently clean the surface of the earplugs.
- Before wearing the earplugs, apply some mineral oil or an antibacterial ointment such as Neosporin on the skin of the ear for light lubrication. This can prevent irritation due to dryness. This can also create a better seal if you are wearing them with a helmet on.
Don’ts:
- Avoid exposing the earplugs to direct sunlight.
- Do not use harsh chemicals such as alcohol for cleaning.
